Melone Lighthouse Nurse Foundation

The Melone Lighthouse Nurse Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed in August 2023 in order to manage a scholarship fund in memory of Debbie L. Melone, a life-long nurse who passed away in March 2023 after 45 years of dedicated service.

First Scholarship Award

Our goal is to award the first scholarship in the Spring of 2025 for the Fall 2025 academic year to any nurse wanting to further their career in the nursing profession. You will be able to find eligibility requirements and an application in the Scholarship tab.

The foundation is taking applications for the first scholarship to be awarded in the Spring of 2025 to any nurse (RN) wanting to further their career in the nursing profession.
